Severe Toothache
Toothaches can be sudden and although they can be very painful, most cases are not considered emergencies. It is recommended in the offset of pain to rinse your mouth with warm water and floss around the affected tooth (or teeth) to ensure there are no residue that might be exasperating the pain. Hopefully the pain will subside and you can visit your doctor sooner than later. However, if the pain is severe and lingering, it’s an indication of a more serious dental problem, so it is very important that you call / visit your dentist as soon as possible.

Wobbly or Loose Tooth/Teeth
Falls, sports or other various traumas can cause teeth to become loose and out of place. If you are in an accident where your tooth/ teeth are injured and fall out of place, you should seek immediate dental help. Do not touch the tooth or do anything that will cause further irritation. You should treat this kind of incident as an emergency. Getting rapid help may save the affected tooth.

Broken Crown
If a crown on your teeth has fallen off or broken, you should see your dentist as soon as possible. A damaged crown does not usually represent a truly dangerous situation. However, on occasion it’s not the crown, but instead the tooth underneath that is broken (a genuine dental emergency) which can lead to complications if not treated immediately.
If you are in severe pain, it is in your best interest to get professional help right away. Leaving things to chance can to lead to long-term damage /consequences.
